Amazon GoldBox

Has ANYONE ever been enticed by one of these "Goldbox" offers? I always get offered earrings, electronic razors, or a crockpot. Occasionally, I get offers for a cable modem.

I've given up.

I check it occasionally, but I don't think I ever bought anything there. They had a good deal on a Bessey woodworking clamp once, but they would only let you buy one, so I passed.

Where I have found some good deals on Amazon is in the Friday Sale, which they do not promote very much. To find it, scroll down the left hand column on the welcome page to near the bottom and click on "Outlet". Then scroll down that left hand column and under "Specialty Stores", click on the Friday Sale. Since this actually happens to be Friday, you will see stuff there. Otherwise you would get a message to come back on Friday.
