I wasn't really gambling. I was in the SB, with 2 limpers in front of me, so if I call and the BB checks, as he did, I figure I am really only spending .25 (the other half of my blind I considered lost when i saw the 2-7) and if my flop hits, I am getting 3-1. I would have folded on any flop that did not include two 2's or 2 7's (or 3). (Even if there were 3 diamonds, I would fold.
