that guy that was going for 60K in 60 days?
I think his screen name was Schneids.
The last time I checked he was on day 40 and although he was behind pace, was doing well. Any updates?

"what ever happened to the 100K in 100 days guy?"

i asked about this like 2 months ago. the guy's name was soda i think. he was supposed to write a book when he finished. i think the popular theory is that he hit a tough run of cards and stopped with the challenge.

Soda is still around. Look for recent posts. He cashed in the WSOP main event.

This is more or less what Soda told me a few days before I began my own quest:

For me, it was a crappy experience. I played poker for 4 or 5 hours each day, and wrote for 2 or 3. Studied for a couple of hours each day as well. Did that for 49 straight days. Missed my goal, hated my own writing, quit poker for 3 months. Of course, I also had nearly 40k. This was a large plus.

I definitely would not make it public if I could do it again. That was dumb. Fun, but dumb.

He got off with a bank teller and everybody lived happily ever after.
