Well im not advanced enough to know for sure...but if you are playing 10+1 SNGs and you invest 2200 so you can play 200.
after the 200 tournaments you end up with 3500
2200/3500 = .62
1.0 - .62 = 38% ROI
or something similar to that..maybe not include the 1$ fee.

((total returned / total spent) - 1) * 100
examples
(($2000 / $1500) - 1) * 100
(1.33 - 1) * 100
.33 * 100 = 33%
(($2000 / $500) - 1) * 100
(4 - 1) * 100
3 * 100 = 300%
(($100 / $200) - 1) * 100
(.5 - 1) * 100
-.5 * 100 = -50%
Probably an easier way.

50% of 2200 = 1100
2200 + 1100 = $3300
Your ROI would have to be above 50% since your return was over $3300.

Bradley's got the right formula. ROI is Return on Investment. It measures how much a given investment gives you back.
Say you put $100 in a savings account. If it pays 4% interest, then your ROI is 4%. You invest $100 and get back $104.
In the case of a SNG, you invest (say) $10+1, and get back $15 for 3rd place. This is an ROI of ((15/11)-1), or 36%. For a whole bunch of SNGs, Bradley has some examples.
