OK - I WAS going to wait until I had 150 SNGs under my belt to post, but throughout my last 20 SNGs I've played, I've only made 3 monies, so I figured I'd post now.
Most of my stats are from $5.00+$.50 SNGs on UB, but I DO have some $10+$1 SNGs in the mix as well. I'll just post totals and breakdowns below:
TOTAL SNGs: 110
FIRST PLACE: 16 times (14.5%)
SECOND PLACE: 16 times (14.5%)
THIRD PLACE: 10 times (9.1%)
FOURTH PLACE: 13 times (11.8%)
IN THE MONEY: 42/110 (38.1%)
NET PROFIT: $89.50 ($.81 per SNG)
$5 SNG TOTALS: 88 SNGs
FIRST PLACE: 14 times (15.9%)
SECOND PLACE: 13 times (14.7%)
THIRD PLACE: 10 times (11.3%)
FOURTH PLACE: 11 times (12.5%)
IN THE MONEY: 37/88 (42.04%)
NET PROFIT: $146.50 ($1.66 per SNG)
$10 SNG TOTALS: 22 SNGs
FIRST PLACE: 2 times (9.1%)
SECOND PLACE: 3 times (13.6%)
THRID PLACE: 0 times (0.0%)
FOURTH PLACE: 3 times (13.6%)
IN THE MONEY: (22.7%)
NET PROFIT: -$57.00 (-$2.59 per SNG)
OK - First, let me state that I KNOW variance is there and all, and I have had alot of bad luck lately. Yesterday, for example, I got all in PF with KK vs QQ, 99 vs 98, AA vs QQ, JJ vs AK, 1010 vs 99, and QQ vs AK, losing every time, and everytime it busted me.... that's life and poker.
Disturbing to me though, is the fact that I'm starting SO bad in the $10 SNGs. I've had every bad beat imaginable, so we won't go into them because everybody hates those stories. A few hand, I can also see/think about where I could ahve avoided going bust, but I think the bad beats I've been getting have altered my play somewhat, as I feel a touch looser PF lately, expecially early on in SNGs.
These stats are just sickening to me, and I need to get to a better place in my poker playing. I'm thinking about moving back to the $5 SNGs for a while until I can get my play under comtrol.... anyone else see anything stat-wise that stands out?
