View Full Version : Should I ever be allowed to continue posting.

I am going to give you guys a quick update on what's been happening to me lately.

Poker has become a HUGE part of my life. I am leaving Umass Amherst even though I have only one more year to go for an accounting degree and have a 3.7 GPA. I just want to really push the affiliate business the next few years instead while there is still a lot of opportunity and plan to travel, play poker both online and off, and make it my work.

I did not go broke as a player like granny maye said I would back in the day. I am now playing the highest (50-1 and 1-2) fixed limit games on pokerroom and prima and consider myself an extremely strong shorthanded/heads up player. I have never had a losing month in my two year poker career. I have got a chance to play in a few international poker tournaments (just recently the WPC in Dublin and Poker master's in Austria) and will continue to do tourneys.

I would like to be allowed to continue posting here. I was banned for making some posts that were intended to benefit my affiliate business on the internet forum. It may have been also because some of my posts were of bragging nature.
Bragging is to some extent a part of my character. We all have something about us that shows up through our posts that makes us look unique.

However many of my posts were on the shorthanded/highstakes forums as I enjoyed discussing strategy. I was already posting here for about a half a year or more and had about 700 posts when I was banned.

I really feel that I could contribute a lot to this forum now that I am so serious about poker, as well as get a lot back from it. I really want to start learning Omaha high low for example and would like a chance to ask questions. I apologize for the nature of some of my previous posts to the moderators and to the users of the forum, and would like to ask permission to post here again.

I would just like to say that Eugeneel often had very good advice when he did discuss poker.

If this is the Eugeneel that returns then I am all for it.

But if it's the eugeneel that brags about his "accomplishments" then I say good riddance. Also, I think that he should have to give Mat his address (which Mat will then verify). If his dirty affiliate links ever appear in any context, or in any PM, then his address is released to the public. It only seems fair.

Freaky. I was going to write the exact same thing, except in place of "yes" I was going to substitute "no".

Allowing you back is unsafe. I don't like you because everytime you post you're dangerous. Your ego is writing checks your body can't cash.

Bear in mind, this is the same guy who spams rgp 5 times a day with "GET 200.00 FREE OFFERS".

He goes under several names there, one of which is poker dollar.

I voted no, because you are a punk, scammer/spammer.

I vote yes with the condition that he gets no second chances when it comes to spam. I couldn't care less if he brags.

1- He was banned for spamming this forum. He was warned multiple times and given a break one or two times.

2- He kept making a mockery of Matt and everyone here by continue spamming under different accounts after he was banned.

3- Matt made perfectly clear that you are banned for ever once he makes the decision.

4- There have been better members than eugenee that were banned

5- If we don’t have to deal with his span, then we have to deal with his ego (just as bad)

6- It is his problem if people in poker forums don’t like him (RGP specially), go and get a girlfriend. Better yet, have your own forum.

your repeated self promotion primarily as an affiliate was devious - you knew the rules - none the less you regularly broke the rules

the information contained in your posts about affiliate issues was largely self serving - it was rare to find useful objective advice contained in any of them

i dislike your lack of simple honest helpful advice and repeated under-hand self promotion - seems strange to me that you would seek redemption by stating that your keen to concentrate on building up your affiliate business because that likely means more of the same - in turn that means more newbies to these boards will suffer for your lack of honesty and candour

this is a very good point. He comes back asking for forgiveness and asking to be able to post again. In the same post, he says he's trying to build up his affiliate business. Why would we not expect to see more of the same crap if you came back?

Here is some stuff Eugene has been scamming/spamming the rgp forum with recently. Bear in mind he does makes about 5 posts a day with the same garbage. You want trash like him here?

******* Very useful nformation about becoming an online poker afiliate ********
From: Eugeneel (support@onlinepokerinfo.com)

As you may know, this business could be very profitable. You can
successfully refer players to online poker rooms while you playing poker
in real casinos, or through a web site. Affiliates make 20-35% of the rake
for the players they send to the online poker rooms. This can be as much
as 4k a month for the most active full time players.

I have been in this business for a long time and have put together a guide
which I believe would be very useful for anyone who would like to start
promoting online poker.

Please send me an email if you are interested and I will send you this
information. I can also assist you if you have any problems and am willing
to give you advice.

We all know how it is to fall from grace. Sometimes, you just can't wait to get up again and prove to the world you have what it takes.

Look at me, for example. I was a high-school football player who was well on his way to landing a college scholarship, even though I am 5'4". One night, after a crushing defeat to Walnut Heights, I got singled out by Coach Nickerson, even though he should have had Rifleman kneel on the ball (The play is called the "Euge Neel" and we run it at the end of every victory.

Anyway, yadda, yadda, yadda, I get kicked off the team, and now I have to make all the right moves to get back on track for that scholarship. Side note, I found some cleats with "lifts" so now I stand 5'7" on the field.

I didn't vote. I am sure that if you can make all the right moves, you will be back here posting in no time - with or without the poll.

I am not free dollar on RGP, you either misread the affiliate code or are just making this up.

The "affiliate guide" offer is the only thing I have posted there in a while.

I have nothing against you dude, even though your subtle attempts at spam in almost every post(on this board at least) weren't. Why the ryan21esque need for the old name and post total? Can't you help out and become a valued poster as say Freddyheadsup, or bobby shOrtHanDed, or 18K CaR? Any of the above could ask all kinds of Omaha questions, and help tons too.

Pick one, or maybe come up with one of your own, and start contributing like a moFo.

No offense Gabs, but RGP is a unmoderated forum and spamming is allowed, it isn't here.

As far as Eugeneel coming back...frankly, it isn't our decision, it's Mat and I don't think he considers it a decision...you're banned.

Personally, I never really had much of a problem with Eugeneel, but I know others did and I can see why.

So, everyone on here can throw in their two cents for shilts and giggles, but I'm sure it's just that b/c I highly doubt Mat would even think about considering letting you officially post here again.
