Why was Syntax banned?

I think to any regular readers of this forum would agree that Syntax has stopped starting any discussions about rakefree poker since Matt asked him too. He has only made posts on the subject when asked or someone else has started a thread.

MS Sunshine attacked him two days ago without any reason and Syntax politely responded by Ignoring him as a user.

Syntax has made quite a few posts assisting and contributing to the value of this forum for example in just two days he:
-found and posted a bonus code for Full Tilt Poker
-assisted another member in troubleshooting why Cherry Casino failed to load and linked him up with the java fix
-confirmed that one could register and reload with Absolute poker without having to wait for the rewards card.

What did Syntax do today that was grounds for his dismissal?

I guess this is Matts forum and he gets to choose who stays and who goes.

You are an idiot. Look at my 1600 posts and their content. Not a single one can even be considered spam unless you want to concoct some theory that I work for pokertracker or a publishing company. I'd like to think that I've contributed a sound amount to this forum, certainly more than you/syntax have.

I'm sure a large number of people have complained to the moderator about Syntax's posts. From the large majority of people, they are unwanted.

Granted, from a morale perspective, this isn't enough reason to ban him, but the fact of the matter is that 2+2 is a business that has it in their best interest to make these forums as good as possible. Having him post here makes reading the forums far less enjoyable and far less educational, and he was banned as a result.
