I am asking if anyone has ever played in pokerroom.com daily freerollx2 tourney?

http://www.pokerroom.com/promotions/# it is on the bottom left

Has anyone ever participated in anything like this?

Also, does anyone know any places where i can sign up for a tourney for free or account, and have a chance at real money?

It starts at 8 in the morning my time tomorrow, so I am wondering if I should give it a shot and wake up that early!

THANKS
-kevin

i have played in the afternoon freerolls (the $500 freerolls...which they are increasing to $750).

they have them everyday.
i have no idea why you would want to wake up early to play in one of them.

You have to play real money games to clear your freeroll winnings. Look up the FAQ for what you need to do to get player points. I believe you need 4 player points for every dollar you won in a freeroll before they give your winnings to you, which sucks if you don't play real money, but is great if you do, since they pay out better than most any other site.

i didnt check the link....but i think there are provisions that you have to have real-money account there in order to get paid (if you place in the money).
i wouldn't be surprised if they actually required you to play a couple of raked hands there too (which is how you accumulate player-points).

you may want to check out the prize-structure for these before getting too excited.
i mean...if you are juiced for $2 for a 40th place finish then more power to you (i think that's what it pays).

btw...pacific also has real-money freerolls like this. including a $500 freeroll at 4:00 i think.

you may want to submit your questions to pokerroom support.
you ncan even call them toll-free...their support is pretty friendly.

ifyou have any money that you can spare you would be much better off taking advantage of the various deposit bonuses out there.

also...there are many affiliates who can help you get a free $25 or $50 or so at party with no deposit required (if you have never played there before).

to get an affiliate do you need to register with a credit card?

while i don't normally like taking to those who bash those who are asking sincere questions, i admittedly agree with dm34's sentiment.

i don't think you HAVE to have a credit-card to open an account at an online-site or neteller.
btw, i don't use my 'normal' credit-card as it were. i just use the check-card credit-card thing from my bank that is directly tied to my checking account.

i suspect that without a neteller account, it would take quite awhile to get any money that you might win via a check.

this is my understanding anyway.

but i am not certain on this stuff.

not sure what your situation is....but if you can't even find a way to get paid (or fund an acct) conveniently i don't know why you are so freaking anxious to try to play.
