Been playing 1/2 games at Stars, Pacific, UB & Paradise. Doing reasonably well. Just wondering if the skill level at these sites goes up much at a 3/6 table?
Also, how's Party's 3/6 games?

I know from experience that stars and paradise 1/2 are alot tougher than part 1/2. Party 3/6 isnt a HUGE jump from party 1/2. Its alot of the same crappy play but there will be a couple good players at the table. So I'm guessng party 3/6 wouldnt be that big a jump from stars 1/2. But it might seem like it just because whenever you jump in betting units it adds stress to the game. If you are thinking of moving over to party, I would jump into the 2/4 for a while before I hit 3/6, just so it isnt as big a shock when you experience the swings. Also make sure you have the proper bankroll before you move up limits, no matter where it is you play.

I agree, party 2/4 is a more realistic jump. The games are very soft. The PArty 3/6 are more aggressive in my opinion.

Party 3/6 is where I first encountered games I couldn't regularly beat for a significant amount. I don't know if it was legitimately stronger play, or if the money was just that much greater, but I could never get settled.

I'll join the others in recommending a lengthy stay at 2/4.

What about U.B., and Pacific?

Same advice. Stay at 2/4 for awhile instead of jumping levels.
I play at UB, and it is even good to know the players that are around in each level before u jump up.
