I posted this in the small stakes forum then realized it belongs here!

Can someone tell me what how much rake a player pays per hour in a 5/10 game?

How about a 10/20 game?

Assume the games are 10 handed, 30 hands/hour.

Thanks

Different card rooms/internet sites have different rake scales.

Rake is also dependant (most of the time) by the size of the pot. I'm assuming that loose games would typically pay more rake and tight games (that aren't always seeing the flops would have less rake being paid)

I'm guessing your question is too difficult to answer because there are a lot of variables.

Say the rake is $3 max.

I'm just looking for an average...not really an exact number.

probably around 10 bucks an hour if you are a winning player.

An approximation could be $2/hand X 30 hands/hr divided by number of players -- figure $60 - $80/hr in rake divided by number of players - for brick and mortar, don't forget tokes

So then it would be safe to say that if a B&M casino charged the players an hourly fee of around $5, this would be a better deal than a $3 max. rake for a 5/10 or 10/20 game, correct? If not, what would be a good hourly fee for the players?

I know that B&M casino's don't have hourly fee's for low limits, but say they did; would the hourly fee raise as the limits of the games go up?

Thanks.
