My general strategy when flopping a strong flush draw is to bet out when there are few opponents in the hand and check/call when there are many. Here is an example where this doesn't work out so well. Does it have to do with the 3-suited flop? Please tell how I can play better in these types of situations....

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 7/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (3 SB) Q/images/graemlins/club.gif, 4/images/graemlins/club.gif, 7/images/graemlins/club.gif (3 players)
Hero bets, BB raises, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 3/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.50 BB) A/images/graemlins/spade.gif (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 6.50 BB

Results in white below:
BB doesn't show.
Outcome: BB wins 6.50 BB.

Generally .5/1 hands should be posted in the Micro Limits section.

I would have folded this hand preflop. However after that I think you played it fine. The BB is representing at least a Q and once the A hits with no improvement for you on the river I think this is an easy lay down in such a small pot.
