You have pocket 4's
Flop is j 10 4
You check, raise, 4 people call, some one re raises. 3 people call that, I call.
Turn is Queen. You raise, 2 drop out, they re-raise,

HUTE POT...

What do you do!!!

push all in on the flop. This is a drawing board.

Numbers are nice, like stack sizes and bet sizes.

I've seen you before on party, I'm pretty sure about that. Your name rings a bell.

Why didn't you push all in on the flop?

Okay the consensus is to push all in, in a NL game.
Now how about a limit game?

you call the turn, check and call the river...pot's too big to fold, even if he already has a straight, plus, the board can pair on the river...but after the re-raise on the turn, I'm through betting the hand!

There's no way you can fold a set here in limit, call and check-call the river if you don't fill up. But there was no reason to slow down on the flop, you could be getting action from JT, KQ, or any number of hands and you should make them pay the maximum.
