I´m about to go on my first casino trip! In germany there are only high stakes in casinos so I´m going for three days to austria and they offer during these days several omaha hi tourneys. Since I´m pretty new to Omaha (I´m a Holdem player) I plan to use the HUTCHISON OMAHA POINT SYSTEM for my starting hand decision.
How should I adjust the system for tourney play or are there other tips for tourneys? And compared to hold`em tourneys strategy how should I handle all-ins in Omaha hi?

thanks in advance and have a great day

If you are new to PLO, why are you playing a high stakes Tourney? Don't you think your throwing your money away?

Because in germany are only high stakes I´m going to austria. There are low stakes holdem, omaha and free omaha tourneys or small buy ins of 10 to 30 bucks, so I´m not going to throw my money away, but thanks for caring

use the same strategy you would in a hold'em tourney as far as range of hands.

i always start out a bit tight and loosen up just a hair until the bubble, when i usually start getting dealt monsters (or so they think...hahahahahahahhahahahahah!!). it's whatever you are comfortable with, really.

cheers!
