Anyone notice how unexcited he looked when handed that $500,000 check? That is chump change for him.

It's not exactly chump change for anybody. But it means less to him than most. He should have shown more interest and been less cocky IMO.

I agree it's not chump change and I agree that he could have appeared a bit more "happy" upon winning, but when you are playing 4000/8000 games on a somehwat regular basis and probably have several million in the bank, it apparently just doesn't get him that jazzed to win 500k.

Most of us here can't understand it, but Phil lives a life that we can't imagine and he is a different individual than the norm (like many very successful people.) To my knowledge, he treats those around him well and with respect and that's good enough for me.
