on the bubble at pacific poker 14 left top ten get $$$. Blinds are $100-200 im short stacked at 1100. 5 others at my table blinds are coming around. average stack is 5k, I limo in for 200 with 77 late caller and BB checks, flop comes Kh Jh 7c check to me, instead of slowplay I bet $500 they both fold I take down a small hand and survive a little longer. What is the right move there?

hamshow90-

I think all-in preflop is the correct play.

As it played out, I would check and let the late caller have an opportunity to bluff.

If he foils my plan and checks PLUS the turn is the flush card, I'm still playing the hand to the end. It's very unlikely that either opponent has the flush draw, and you've got lots of outs to your boat if they do. As shortstacked as you were, the slowplay is definitely the way to go IMHO.
