Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A/images/graemlins/spade.gif, 6/images/graemlins/heart.gif.
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Hero raises

Typical Loose Limper = MP1

I dont think you get +ev on those exact hands, but it may very well provide you with some extra callers for your other raises once people see you raise with that.

And ofcourse when you do get AQ the blinds are more likely to defend.

So yes I think its +ev. In an implied sense atleast.

This is a good move only if:
1:The blinds are at least somewhat likely to fold.
2:MP1 plays bad postflop and will fold on most flops if he misses.
#2 is a given, but at party poker, #1 is a bit of a reach.

If you can isolate a weak limper and the blinds are tight, then this can be a profitable play. However, if the blinds in the hand are loose, you should usually wait for better oppurtunities.
