Party 15/30. Looser-than-average table with typical levels of aggression, but I'm lacking in particular player reads.

Four players limp, I call in the SB with 6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif, and the BB knocks.

6 see a flop of 2 /images/graemlins/heart.gif 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 8 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif. The BB and I check it around to the first limper, who bets. Two more limpers call. I call. The BB calls.

The turn is 7 /images/graemlins/club.gif and I bet out.

I would have bet the flop. Were you going for checkraising a late position better ?

Given, that you did not bet the flop I do not see what the bet is accomplishing. I do not think you have the best hand, you will not get better hands or good draws out and you can only improve with an eight. You will not get 5 people to believe you have a seven.
