$50+5 Poker Stars tourney, 297 entries. Payout through 27 places. 35 players remaining and I am in 20th position with about $9000 T. Average stack is a bit less than me. Blinds are at $300 - 600.

You are facing an UTG raise with a medium pocket pair here. I don't think this is the time to be going over the top with this kind of hand. You are going to get called a large percentage of the time, and you will either be a coin flip or a dog. The fact that there are 8 people still to act behind you makes this hand even worse.
