This came up a day ago or so and, even though I think I misplayed it pretty badly, I am really not sure what to do in these situations, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Just joined the table, no read on anyone yet. After everyone checked to me on the flop and I raised, MP1 called my raise without the slightest hesitation, which stopped me dead in my bluffing tracks. Would options did I have at that point? Did I go wrong somewhere earlier?

I don't have much(if any)experience with NL, but your PF play seems too weak. With that hand, I'd want to take control of the action. I would think with a PF raise MP1 would be more apt to respect your flop raise. But I've never played at .10 NL, so I don't know how these tables play.
