I mucked the winning hand at the showdown in a 10BB pot. It was heads-up, and when my opponent turned over his hand, I thought he had a flush. He didn't.

This is without a doubt the dumbest mistake I have ever made. I had to quit for the day.

Hi Sin

Don't feel so bad. Everyone has done this at least once and I have done it at every limit (lol).

I wonder if this has ever happened at a TV final table, now *that* would be embarassing. The only thing close that I've seen was that hand (I think it was last year's WSOP) where Hellmuth thought TJ Cloutier was slowrolling him because he took a long time to flip up his hand, thinking he had lost when he had backdoored a flush without realizing it.

I threw away my $200 share of a chop when the Ace hit the river and nullified both our kickers. That was brilliant.

Since then, I haven't misread a board.
