If anyone can guess the cards of the winner of this pot on their first try, I will transfer you $20 via either Poker Stars or Neteller. No cheating if you were at the table.
You must guess the two cards, and say whether they're suited or unsuited. If suited, you must say which suit. If you guess offsuit I do not require exact suits. Good luck!

I gotta guess KsQs for the CO for the win.
And just for kicks, 5s6s for BB?
MP2 I have no clue... perhaps KJ?
I just can't figure out what is up with CO's stop and go play other than attempted steal on flop with 2 overcards and flush draw. I would have said AsKs but obviously the A was in your hand.

Ah no offense to New, Matt, Bluff, and Climb........
did you guys read the original post?!?!?!?!?!?
We're told the CO won this hand. We also know he raised $12 preflop, raised another $24 on the flop and then called another $6 from an "all in".
He would have to be a total idiot to play for that much with some of those guesses. /images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I guess anythings possible, but I doubt it.

Im thinking maybe ace high, If he had a hand I dont see why he would have checked it on the river. maybe a 2 and stayd in on the straight draw?

Good point. For some reason I was thinking he was all-in. At work, and didn't look carefully enough! Now where am I going to get $20? /images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I don't think I'm correct, but I'm going for 8,8... He re-raised preflop (for bad reasons as it turned out) trying to get it headsup maybe. Liked the flop, but the turned 10 scared him. The paired board caused his weak weak weak check behind on the river.
I'm really curious as to what this guy held.

All the obvious stuff has been guessed..
So I will take a stab at it:
Maybe AJ offsuit? other 2 have busted draws? Why would MP2 bet 2 dollars into a 100+ pot? Just odd...
AJ offsuit doesent make any sense because CO was so agressive, but it looks like all the straights, flush draws, and trips/fullhouses have been guessed, not sure though....
Other possibility - maybe hes some wacko and was playing "the brunson" and he takes down the pot with 10's..

07-15-2004, 03:11 PM
Well, we have two members who have guessed correctly, and even though the first guy should get the whole thing, he didn't follow the rules and guess suited or unsuited. So I'm going to split the never before seen gigantic prize pool two ways between jezaja and gcoutu. Congrats to both of you.
Here are the results of the hand:
BioWhiz8 showed J /images/graemlins/club.gif6 /images/graemlins/club.gif and lost with a pair of Fours
BigMit showed 3 /images/graemlins/spade.gifA /images/graemlins/diamond.gif and won ($134.70) with a pair of Fours
Shmo3i3 (big blind) mucked Q /images/graemlins/diamond.gif6 /images/graemlins/diamond.gif - a pair of Fours
This hand nearly made me throw up when I saw all the results.
To the winners: PM me to let me know if Stars or Neteller would be better.

The results basically show all 3 players have pretty poor hand selection I would think. Like what is wrong with the guy who has J6 suited and calls 12xbb preflop? I want that guy at my table..
