I played PP 2/4 tonight to start learning limit. As a reasonably experienced NL tourney player, limit confuses me. /images/graemlins/confused.gif

KK UTG+1. UTG limps, I raise, of course. A couple more callers, including BB.

Flop is Q4x, two hearts. I bet, get called everywhere.

Turn pairs 4's, check to me, I bet, get folds and a check-raise. Hrrm?

River is some rag, he bets, I call, he turns over 42o.

Now, I'm not posting this as a weak bad beat story. What I want to know is, is there a better way to play it? Did I make any mistakes?

I just can't imagine folding to the turn check raise makes any sense at all here. Should I have raised on the river?

If it's a LAG table you can try to limp-rr from UTG+1 but honestly it's fine. Having this hand in your PT database is more +EV than the money you lost here.

That's why limit can be both profitable and at times annoying.
