Electronic Device Use

Can someone tell me definitively whether or not any form of electronic devices are allowed in most MTT's. Particularly, the WPT and WSOP Texas Hold'em. I did not think they were allowed but thought I saw Men the Master whip out a voice recorder in the WSOP Stud qualifier. Does anyone know of a rules site that would dictate specifics?

That was his cell phone that rang. He said "I'm in the tournament" and hung up.
Typically, cell phones are not allowed in a tourny. I'm not sure about PDA's and the like, but I would guess that if they are not allowed, they shouldn't be. It wouldn't be that hard to text message your buddy across the table that you have AA.

Good point. I didn't even think about TM. I thought about odds calculators, strategies etc.
