I finished 4th in yet another 5 dollar SNG on PokerStars tonight. It makes me sick. I have two hands here I'd like you to critique for me. The first hand I feel like I overplayed from the start. The second hand, I thought I had plenty of outs IN CASE he had the J as opposed to the overcards, but would I be better off trying to get in? Thanks for any help guys.

I don't really know pot limit, but in the first hand, I'd limp instead of raising preflop. On the flop, I'd probably bet the pot as well, but with two callers, I'm not so sure what to do on the turn and river. I guess that's why QJs isn't a great hand in EP, especially early in the tourney, since you can't really be sure of your hand if you hit top pair. I could see possibly pushing on the turn, but I've seen a lot of people slowplaying big hands, so I might be more inclined to just check the turn (too weak?).

Second hand I fold to his raise without a huge read that he'd do the same thing with overcards. I believe the odds of hitting a flush draw are 4:1, so you're not too happy going all-in here.
