I needed to double up to be able to compete for last table spot, but instead got knocked out 6 short of $$. Moron move? I woulda dropped but with the st8 draw it was close to coinflip, and I had earlier taken large pot of this guy when I caught him cold bluffing...

If you want people to respond, you should either take the time to write it out, or get the hand converter so that it is readable.

From what I gather, you started with about 18x and miniraised in MP with AT. Were raised up to 6x. Called off a third of your stack preflop with ATo. Ok.

Flopped an openender and called an all in bet, and lost to KK.

If that is indeed the action (I sort of skimmed it, so let me know if it's different) then I think the play sucks.
The miniraise sucks.
The preflop call really sucks.
The all in call on the flop only sucks a little.

Raise to 3x preflop, and fold to the reraise. This hand is easy.

Yep - fold to the reraise preflop with A10o near the bubble. You are a big underdog to AK, AQ, AJ, AA, KK, QQ, JJ, 1010 and all smaller pairs are a coin flip. I'd definitely stay away from coin-flip (or worse) situations when close to the money.

THanks for reply...I figured out how to use converter now sorry. The reason for mini raise was table was so tight that this normally took the blinds. Yes I see I should have dropped instead of calling...bad poker on my part
