Mine tend to be 25BB's, sometimes worse but how much would be considered normal as an avarege over a certain period of time?

It depends on how good a player you are. With over 36k hands online that I've tracked, my winrate is just above 2.5 BB/100 hands (not as good as I hoped) with a standard deviation of ....... well, I can't find SD anymore on pokertracker. Hmmmmm.....

Anyway... I've had 2 downswings of over 100 BB and another downswing of over 200BB in the last 3 months.

I've also had a few upswings that were much greater than 200BB greater than my win rate in just a few days.

25BB is mild... just a blip.

For the 15/30 a typical (maybe low) variance is 15BB/100h a medium-low win rate is 1bb/100h ($20/hour) after 10k hands a.k.a. 83 days of live play you have a 25% chance that you are at best breakeven. You can get that figure from normal dist.

So in none math terms that means 3 times a year you'll have 3 months of breakeven/losing play. I really could never me a live pro. Just imagine how hard it would be trying to explain to people you aren't just a gambling addict during one of those streaks.

I've also had a 400bb losing streak at 15/30.

10k hands of live play = 83h?
10.000 / 30 (hands per hour) = 333,333333333h
333,3333333 / 6 (6 hours per day) = 55,555555 days

To get 83 days you only play 4h / day. 28h / week, which I think seem a bit low.

Or am I wrong again?

So you can expect to have 9 out of the 12 months to break even or losing? That doesn't seem right...

That's the workings i did. I think 4 hours/day is avg. Funny, this year i'll play equal to 16 years of live play in one year online.

Sorry my post got wrapped in math. 25% over a 10k sample means that you'll have _1_ at best breakeven 10k session per year. That sucks.
