Must they always make the winning hand in the WSOP on the river? I believe it's 3 years running that this occurred. Congrats to all the winners, but I hope they don't "draw out" on me like that next year! Babe

well, it is a seven card game babe, heh. good luck next year...ps. are you going to start putting aside 833.33 dollars or so per month to fund this grand adventure?...or is your entry contingent on winning a satellite?..

Hi Hillbilly- satellite contingency. Played one this year, but was knocked out with 88. Babe

Robert was ahead on all streets.

It's a real bummer when you walk away with only $1.1 million.

Varkonyi had the best hand all the way, on every street. Gardner moved in with a flush draw and it got there on the river, only to fill up Varkonyi's two pair.

...he was ahead the whole way. The runner-up was the one on a draw, a flush draw. Robert would've been just fine with a blank on the end with his two-pair. He flopped pair, made two-pair on turn...way ahead.
