I'm at the 1/2 NL game live of course, and my stack size is 350. The other relevant player covers me.
I am dealt Js6s in the BB
A couple of players limp and I check
Flop comes 6c8s9d
Everyone checks
Turn comes 10s
At this point as you can see I have the straight plus flush draw.
SB bets out $10
I call
UTG raises to $30
SB folds
I reraise to $70
UTG reraises to $170
I call
River comes Q
We both check.
Any thoughts?
I'm not sure if the reraise on the turn is right here. I wanted to commit this player to the pot in case I hit the flush. I didn't think his raise necessarily meant he was holding JQ, as he may have just been trying to weed out any other hands. After he reraised here it became apparent that he in fact does have the nuts, but I decided to call here because if the river came a spade I could push and he would be forced to call.
Fortunately for the both of us the Q comes allowing us to split the pot. Do you think that I should have pushed on the river here since it is apparent that he is not holding JK? I highly doubt that he is going to fold, but I assume pushing here is quite obvious and I failed to do so.
This hand is very sloppy and I'm not sure how it really should have played out.
