Santa Fe Hotel in Vegas...

Is this hotel really seedy? A friend of mine told me you can stay there for like $29 a night, and since we are broke ass college students, that sounds great. I know it's not on the strip or anything, but that's what cabs are for. I just dont wanna stay in a hotel ridden with bugs and bloodstained sheets and [censored].

No, the property is actually pretty nice...only problem is it's located about 15 min from the Strip on the west side of town..if you stay there, keep away from their Mexican Resturant..worst service I ever had.

Cabs are not cheap. You'd do better to stay somewhere cheap and on/near strip. Check out some of the second tier properties like the Coast or Station properties. I can't believe you can't fine something on/near strip equal to $29 plus the cost of a couple cab rides.

Look downtown too. You will find deals.
