Hi. How many hands should someone play before making any assumptions about it? What I mean is, say I have played AJ five times and I am losing money with it. Of course five times isn't a large enough sample to take seriously. So what I am asking is, how large a sample should I have before I consider altering my play of a certain hand, or from a certain position, etc?

Id say min you need about 25,000 hands to draw any real conclusions. 100,000 will give a much better idea and should be approaching "the long run"
