View Full Version : Another hand to talk about

Here is another hand from the 25-50 game last night: For deceptive purposes, I raise an extremely weak/loose, utg limper with 6c 5c. The blinds and limper call, everyone else folds. The flop comes Kc 8h 6s. It is checked to me, I bet, the sb calls, everyone else folds. The turn is the Qc. The sb bets, I raise, he calls. The river is the Jc. Sb checks, I bet he calls. He has KQ offsuit for two-pair, so my baby flush is good. I raised the turn with bottom pair and a flush draw, which I think is a reasonable play given the fact that the small blind, while too loose pre-flop, is capable of folding after the flop. However, I think that the raise was a mistake because the Qc that came on the turn was too coordinated with the flop, and therefore likely to improve my opponents hand, making it highly unlikely that he would fold to the raise.
