I was watching a friend playing a $11 Sit and go on Party Poker. Table is pretty loose. Two people went out on first two hands. My friend doubled up on third hand with KK vs. KQ. Anyways, it was 2nd level 15/30 blinds.

UTG (800 or so chips) raises to 60.
MP (1600 or so chips) reraises to 200.
My friend is right behind him with around 1600 chips as well with AK hearts.
I suggested moving all in right there. My other friend said fold. He folded and UTG moved all in with QQ and MP called him with 88.

Do you usually try to avoid pushing here if you think you're better than the other players. Or is AKs too just to lay down in this spot?

Your friend has already doubled his stack early, why go all in on a coin flip ?? Especially on Party you want to let all the goofs allin themselves out during the first few rounds. Then make your move with the larger stack when things stabilize.

I like this answer...AK often overated unless you are 1st to raise with it...if short stacked ya push it in...
