Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed)

UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO calls, Hero raises, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls, MP1 calls, MP2 calls, CO calls.

Flop: (11.50 SB) 5/images/graemlins/heart.gif, K/images/graemlins/club.gif, 3/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (5 players)
UTG checks, MP1 checks, MP2 bets, CO calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, CO calls.

Turn: (9.75 BB) A/images/graemlins/club.gif (4 players)
UTG checks, MP2 bets, CO calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP2 calls, CO folds.

I wondered why he bet into me here, I thought about a set or maybe another 2 pair, so if he 3 bet I'd call down and if not I'd keep betting.

River: (16.75 BB) 5/images/graemlins/spade.gif (3 players)
UTG checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls.

Meh I still should be in the lead.

Final Pot: 19.75 BB
Main Pot: 19.75 BB, between Hero, UTG and MP2. > Pot won by MP2 (19.75 BB).

Results in white below:
UTG shows Kd 9c (two pair, kings and fives).

A lot of fish dont realize its ok to re-raise, so they just bet into you on the next round. This practice is more common during live play.

This is VERY true. I've played probably 30 hours of live poker in the last few weeks and I think I've seen 2 check raises. They would rather bet out when they have top pair beat or when they make their hand on the turn or river.

So what do you do to combat this when looking at top 2 pair? Just call down? I'm not sure if I played this wrong since won't I be ahead most of the time? Or are you guys saying that since he's a fish and betting into me again I should just call down since I need help on the river.

I thought about it, but what would he bet betting with that I could beat if he's not brain dead? I raised him on flop and turn yet he still bets into me?
