Fossilman is scheduled to be on ESPN radio Tuesday. I heard on "the herd"(thats kinda funny) with Colin Cowherd, that Tuesday Greg Raymer would be on the show to kick off the WSOP coverage that begins on tuesday.

I wonder if they are going to take callers while on air to ask questions and such. If they do, would it be okay(david, mason, ray) if one of us was to call up and mention that he/she was a fellow 2+2'er?

You can say anything you want on the radio without their permission, free country and all. You just can't say these seven words:

(1) Sh_t

(2) P_ss

(3) F_ck

(4) C_nt

(5) C_cksucker

(6) Motherf_cker

(7) T_ts

im not exactly sure on the time. I think between 8-10am Pacific.
I know I *can* say whatever I want, just wasn't sure if it would be appropriate or not. I prob wont call in even if they accept callers anyway. I was just wondering.

Colin Cowherd is 10-1 ET. I'll be listening if I am in my van. I work on the road so I might catch him.

Sure it would be okay. Also, ask him about any book plans.

Best wishes,

I'll ask him what he thinks of the new 2+2 book from Noted Poker Authority Ed Miller.

I agree DSM!

I've seen him in live twice. It was the exact same act both times, and it was just as funny the second time around.

As for Mr Malmuth:

Are you implying that you and Greg have already begun discussions on a tournament/no-limit book?

Looks like I'll have another book to buy. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am listening to that show and the host said Greg will be on in about an hour or so. So that should be 10:40 central time.

His entry is paid into all those tournaments? That's a helluva freeroll.

Greg has the calmest voice I've ever heard. Wow.

Great job out of him, talking in the bathroom while the family was sleeping. Thats a pretty expensive office to be talking from!

I can't believe he's bankrolled for all those upcoming tourney's. But lets face it, everyone here would pony up the money to enter him into a tournament.

I'm surprised Mason hasn't compiled all of Greg's threads into a single collection....

Fossilman's interview on ESPN radio is on streaming audio at the ESPN site.

Here's a link (http://espnradio.espn.go.com/espnradio/show?showId=1767801#) to the interview. Click on the "Listen to The Herd with Colin Cowherd" link. It starts at around 1:25 into the program. Get it while it's still up there, my guess is this will be overwritten with tomorrow's program when it airs.

I recorded the segment on mp3 if anyone was interested in listening to it. Colin sounded unprepared and condescending to me.

Colin didn't sound any different than he usually does imo. I would think that ESPN would have told him that Greg Raymer is not going to be on tonights show but instead on later in the series. He sounded confused when Fossilman tryed to explain that there was not only more than one show, but more than one tournament.

What?? A sports radio host who is unprepared, and condecending?? What a shock.

Greg probably missed his chance to use the "I'm Rick James, bitch" line that Astroglide was talking about in another thread. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree with everyone that Colin Cowherd was very condensending..trying to make Greg to be some sort of ametuer "fly by night" player, which is a shame cause I really enjoy listening to that show.
