Are there any poker rooms closer to Winter Haven than the Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa? Thanks in advance.

I go to UCF and there are none that I know of either.

Poker in Florida is available at the Seminole's Poker Rooms.
You can find them by calling: 866 222 7466

Many tracks also have poker rooms. Can't help ya there.

If near the shoreline, there are numerous casino boats on both coasts that have poker.

Dogtracks can have poker with a license on days that racing or jai alai is scheduled, and all land poker seems to be $2 max bet or raise. There used to be a $10 pot limit but I guess that was lifted awhile back. $2 max bet though is pretty weak.

I would check out www.homepokertourney.com (http://www.homepokertourney.com) for a link to some poker game lookup sites. I saw one for tourneys as well as a cash game lookup that allows you to see all posted games for your area.
